Many researchers in the field of children and adolescent theatre believe that "play" can have a significant impact on the intellectual development and mental creativity of this group. Meeting the intellectual and spiritual needs of children and adolescents during special age, directs the path of development and growth of their intellectual powers in the right direction.
Although the show at the canter has long roots, in the field of working with teenagers, it has been limited to puppet shows and creative shows. Therefore, the first performing arts association of the center in the field of stage-theatre, puppet-theatre, creative-theatre and giant puppets was established in 1998 with the aim of recognizing, developing and nurturing talented teenagers and supporting their productions.
 

 
 
Introducing the secretary of the association:
 
Amir Mashhadi Abbas was born in 1980 in Tehran. At the age of 16, he received the honorary diploma of the youngest director of the Centre for Performing Arts and performed 25 plays for the Ministry of Guidance in the age group of children and adolescents, 4 plays for Channel 2 of Radio and Television, one feature film for Channel 1 and two series for Channel 5. It is from his career record. His most famous work is writing the program "Fitileh, Jomeh Tatileh", which was broadcast for two years on the Islamic Republic of Iran TV. In addition, being a member of the founding board and board of directors of the Children and Adolescents Theatre Association of the Iran Theatre House, managing the first specialized workshop for children and Adolescents Theatre at the University of Tehran and teaching for years in various centres are also part of his activities.
